WHY I'M RUNNING FOR RIVER FALLS MUNICIPAL JUDGE
Like many people, I experienced challenges in my youth. I still remember how a trusted adult in a position of authority took the time to guide me and help me get back on track. That investment made a lasting impact on my life. Serving as municipal judge would be an opportunity for me to provide that same sense of fairness, accountability, and encouragement to others.
I believe every person who appears before the court deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness. Especially with young people, there is an opportunity not only to impose appropriate consequences, but also to provide guidance and accountability that can help them make better choices moving forward. Taking the time to listen, understand their circumstances, and reinforce how their decisions today can shape their future is an important part of that responsibility.
I bring a strong commitment to fairness, sound judgment, real-world experience, and a deep respect for the responsibility of serving this community. My focus will always be on listening carefully, applying the law impartially, and treating every person with equal respect.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and would be honored to earn your trust.
ABOUT CLINT
Clint has called River Falls home for more than four decades. He was raised here, raised his family here, and continues to invest his time and energy in the community he knows so well.
Clint is the proud father of two sons, Carson and Greyson, both raised in River Falls and graduates of River Falls High School. Being a parent has shaped how he views responsibility, fairness, and accountability—not as abstract ideas, but as values that play out in real people’s lives. Clint enjoys spending time with his sons and staying connected to the community they grew up in together.
Professionally, Clint brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in complex, high-responsibility environments. Throughout his career, he has led teams, managed large-scale operations, and made decisions that required careful judgment, attention to detail, and respect for people from all walks of life. His work demanded integrity, clear thinking under pressure, and the ability to listen before acting—qualities he believes are essential in the courtroom.
Clint’s career also gave him a deep appreciation for systems that must operate fairly and consistently. Whether overseeing operations, leading teams, or navigating high-stakes decisions, he learned the importance of applying rules evenly, treating people with respect, and earning trust through transparency and follow-through.
In addition to his professional work, Clint has been actively involved in serving the River Falls community through volunteer and civic engagement. His involvement has included River Falls Youth Baseball, River Falls Youth Football, the Boy Scouts of America, United Way, the Lions Club, the Courage Center, and Special Olympics. He has also served as a board member for the Century College Dental Assisting Program, supporting education and workforce development.
What matters most to Clint, however, has always been River Falls. This is where he built his life, raised his family, and developed a strong belief in public service grounded in fairness and common sense. He understands the responsibility that comes with serving his neighbors and is committed to approaching the role of Municipal Judge with impartiality, respect for the law, and care for every person who enters the courtroom.
